LG IrisAccess 4000 is a biometric identification system designed for reading the eye irises. This is a comprehensive system containing a powerful control unit ICU4300, DCU4300 inputs control unit, own iris readers ICAM4000/4100 and utility software.

Unlike other systems, the biometric templates are not stored on any accessible external components. The experts recognize that improved security measures of the model 4000 built on the LG IrisAcces™ platform creates a new standard in this branch and meets the requirements that many other biometric systems may miss. The counter-measures against abuse of the system have been improved. The safety also plays a key role in the software. The LG iData Program for access control and iData.SDK for creating the identification applications are ready to support several encryption options (including use of FIPS) and also PKI.
