Technical Qualification Conditions

By signing the Partnership Agreement of the Dealer category, the buyer becomes a partner for the sale of Aktion products on the basic level. This level entitles the buyer to taking over the goods, for which no special competence (qualification) is required. There are components of the consumer nature: identification media, cases and accessories, cables, sources, electric locks, sensors, toners, mechanical equipment, etc. For the sale of system solutions, i.e. software and control units, special qualification levels are required.

Installation Level (Installation PARTNER)

The installation level assumes basic knowledge of the identification system required for the installation, commissioning and setting the basic operating parameters. To achieve this level, the responsible representative of the buyer is obliged to undertake the technical training of the seller. The responsible representative is subsequently involved (performs or supervises) the installation of the system at the customer. Following the training, the authorized representative has the right to use the technical support line of Helpdesk and Hotline. The input training may be a multi-level one, depending on the type of equipment (Singlecon, Multicon, etc.). In the case of launching new products on the market, the responsible person must undertake a new training. The training update is recommended to be carried out even if the worker has not performed any installation for a long period of time. This qualification assumes:

  • Commercial knowledge of the products, technical capabilities and functional characteristics
  • Preparation of the draft design and project documentation
  • Installation of the equipment at customer
  • Full HW connection
  • HW and IP addresses configuration on equipment
  • SW installation on server (control computer) and user stations
  • Setting parameters of address points and HW structure
  • Recovery of the data communication
  • Import or entry of personal data and identifiers
  • Basic settings of the access rights and users
  • Putting into a trial operation
  • Registration and administration of the SW licenses for the Assistant technical support system
  • Preparation of the data from a customer on the basis of documents for the SW setting (access, attendance, production operations, catering, etc.)

The system implementation and settings of SW features are done in conjunction with the implementation partner or the manufacturer. Terms of this cooperation are solved by an individual agreement (order, contract for work, etc.).

Implementation Level (Implementation PARTNER)

The implementation level assumes extension of the installation level by knowledge of implementation processes in various applications, managing all the software settings, administrator’s and user’s training and providing the operational support to the customer. To achieve this level, the responsible representative of the buyer must undertake the implementation training at the seller, which is provided separately, focusing on the specific application (accesses, attendance, production operations, etc.). The training may be a multi-stage one. Precondition for achieving this level is a successful implementation of at least 3 applications at the end user. It is recommended to undertake the training update regularly with release of new SW versions. This qualification assumes:

  • Knowledge of the installation level
  • Input analysis processing and setting a implementation procedure
  • Data imports from the external source (XLS)
  • Implementation of the application named "autoimporter" for the automatic taking over the personal data from external systems
  • Setting the user access rights and way of logins (NT domain)
  • Installation and configuration of the photo studio
  • Creation of press reports (ID cards, etc...)
  • Setting access rights for readers and opening modes
  • Setting attendance / catering / manufacturing operations (calendars of working hours / working days, shifts, wage components and working models, contracts, manufacturing operations, reports, menus, etc.)
  • Setting the network services (VPN, Firewall, DNS, etc.)
  • Configuration of servers (MS SQL, SBS, Apache)
  • Configuration of client stations
  • System administrator and SW users training

The system implementation and other related services are performed by the implementation partner separately. Requested support for another implementation partner or manufacturer is solved based on the individual agreement (order, contract work, etc.).

Development Level (Development PARTNER)

The development level assumes knowledge of the database environments and applications of information systems. A responsible representative of the buyer has the opportunity to work with data of the Aktion identification system at the database level. Precondition for achieving the compliance with the development level is fulfillment of the previous two levels and conclusion of an agreement on the development cooperation. This qualification assumes:

  • Knowledge of installation and implementation levels
  • Creation of overview reports
  • Creation of connecting bridges
  • Connection with other database applications (API, SQL, ...)
  • Implementation of other SW solutions above the database structure of the Aktion system
  • Special custom solutions
