Changes to licenses

The essential change is primarily that it will no longer be issued a proforma invoice, but only invoice - tax document and multiple licenses can expand without waiting for the payment of previous invoices.

Any new license or extension will be subject to a contract covering the provision of the Aktion software license and service and system support services. This agreement is concluded by sending the Customer Order and confirming it with the Contractor.

Also, the new Terms of Service and System Support, which are annexed to the General Terms and Conditions, apply. Please pay attention to them, because there are defined terms and procedures especially for the area of support.

New license:

• The new license is fully operational immediately. Its parameters can be changed arbitrarily (add and remove) until the invoice is issued.
• The invoice will be issued automatically 60 days after the license is issued or you can request it earlier. This is done with the license, the menu to activate the license. Until the invoice is issued, support services (Updates and Technical Support) can be used for FREE.
• Since the invoice has been issued, the license change will already be taken as an extension of the license.
• If the invoice is not paid on the due date, the license will be blocked until the amount due has been settled.

License extension: 

• License extension is available from version 5.0 or higher.
• Change of license is possible only upwards.
• The invoice will be issued immediately after the order is sent and confirmed. This invoice cannot be cancelled.
• License extension will be done multiple times without having to wait for the previous invoice.
• If the invoice is not paid on the due date, the license will be blocked until the amount due has been settled.

Service and System Support (Update)

• The service and system support service contract are both closed by issuing and confirming the Customer Order when ordering a new license or extending it, or when ordering the Update service itself.
• The first billing of these services will be accompanied by billing for a new license. The service is paid for one year in advance. Billing for the next period will already be based on a separate service invoice.
• Upgrading the license will also bundle a portion of the services with the license until the end of the billing period. Invoice for the next period will already include the number of extension services.
