Support for Windows XP and Windows 2003 Server

From version Aktion.NEXT 2.0, support for Windows XP and Windows 2003 Server will be terminated!

Last year, Microsoft shut down Windows XP support. On July 14, 2015, Windows 2003 Server will cease support.

EFG CZ will cease support for Aktion.NEXT on Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 from the upcoming version 2.0, which will be released on 9/2015. The reason is to implement new SW components that no longer support operating on these operating systems. Therefore, on the stations or servers that use these operating systems, you will not be able to upgrade the Aktion.NEXT from version 1.10 to version 2.0. With current version 1.10, extended basic technical support will be provided until the end of 2015.

We recommend that users of Aktion.NEXT systems verify that they use these OS within their computer infrastructure. In this case, we recommend moving to the current OS version. We will be happy to help you with the transition to new product versions.
