New version Aktion.NEXT 2.0

The new version of Aktion.NEXT 2.0 was released on Assist@nt technical support server. Among the newest features include support for new eSeries devices, an extension of the communication server with a local SQL database, localization of attendance records
and storing identification cards in hexadecimal form. To run, a Microsoft .NET Framework is needed, in a version 4.5.1 and higher!
With version 2.0, support for new eSeries devices (eSmartReader, eReader, eBox, eRelay) starts. All information about these products can be found at the Technical Support server in the Tutorials and Manuals section - eSeries (after logging in).
In the area of attendance was added the possibility of a location of records. Now you can translate names of wage components, working time patterns, shifts, attendance regulations, calendar templates, and now in four languages - Czech, Slovak, English, German (novelty). For more information, see the User's Guide.
The agenda group shift plan provides new opportunities. The Fund Ratio column, which expresses the difference between the fund according to the plan and the statutory fund (under the employment contract), has been added. Data can now be filtered by shift or action (Selection filter). The user can also set individual amounts - the ability to add all or only days with events/no events. The individual sums can be in defined order and colour-coded. During the planning itself, attendance parameters are monitored according to the valid Labor Code (continuous rest between shifts and uninterrupted rest of the week). Additionally, internal ID numbers have been modified. Identifiers are now stored in hexadecimal format (Internal number long)! The Desfire type is not being reduced as it has been. If your company has Desfire ID cards and you plan to expand your system with eSeries products, you must re-enter these cards! For more information, see the User's Guide.

The communication server has improved performance by using a fully-fledged local SQL database that stores communication data and improves communication between HW and the device manager. The database must be created during installation (the installer will offer the necessary steps). At the same time, support for Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 has ended, which is why the upgrade to Microsoft .NET Framework version 4.5.1 - more information on the transition from version 1.10.2 to version 2.0 can be found here. We recommend that you study this document before installing it!

Fingerprint scanning technology has changed due to eSeries devices. Therefore, with existing biometric systems, fingerprints need to be scanned if new products are expanded!
Aktion.Cloud was completely redesigned. The opening screen contains information about HW communication, fingerprinting can now be done directly in the application for people, the person logs in with the password, etc. Any information about the new Cloud can be found in the user manual.
For the sake of clarity and consistency of systems, cloud and server web applications have been graphically separated. Cloud is now oriented in green-black colour, while the classic web client is red-black.
Mobile apps for Cloud connection were also expanded. There are now two variants that are also visually divided. The classic mobile client for Aktion.NEXT has remained in red and the individual features have been retained. Cloud mobile application is now green and can be configured directly from the Aktion.CLOUD web application. It is much easier to get started than the server version.
