What is the purpose of the Aktion BTE configurator application?

The Aktion BTE configurator application is operated in accordance with EU and Czech law and allows viewing the configuration of Aktion BTE devices, as well as their configuration by authorized persons.

Aktion readers use Bluetooth or NFC technology to communicate with your device.

Please note that the Aktion BTE configurator application does not have access to or control over data that has been provided to third-party Aktion systems.

How does Aktion BTE configurator work?

Once installed, the Aktion BTE configurator can locate nearby Aktion BTE devices and view their settings. If the user is registered in the eCare support system ( https://www.ecare.cz ) and has been granted permissions, he can configure the settings of the BTE Aktion devices after authorization.

What rights does the Aktion BTE configurator app require from your mobile operating system?

The Aktion BTE configurator app requires Bbuetooth enabled and uses the following permissions to function

    • Access to location when using the app (bluetooth) - required for basic functionality.
    • Network access for authorization and firmware downloads to update the device.

Third Party Privacy Policy

The privacy policy of Aktion BTE configurator does not apply to third-party Aktion system providers.

CCPA Privacy Rights (Don't Sell My Personal Information)

Under the CCPA, California consumers have the right to, among other things:

Right of access - you have the right to request copies of your personal data. You may be charged a small fee for this service.

Right to rectification - You have the right to request the rectification of any data you believe to be inaccurate. You also have the right to request the completion of information that you believe is incomplete.

Right to erasure - You have the right to request that your personal data be erased under certain conditions.

Right to restriction of processing - you have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted under certain conditions.

Right to object to processing - Under certain conditions, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data.

Right to data portability - You have the right to request that data collected by Aktion be transferred to another organisation or directly to you under certain conditions.

If you make a request to the Aktion system operator, they have one month to respond. If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please contact the relevant Aktion operator.

Information about children

Another part of our priorities is to add the protection of children's privacy. We encourage parents and guardians to monitor, participate in and/or track and guide their use of the app.

The Aktion BTE configurator application does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you believe that your child has provided this type of information in our application, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will endeavor to promptly remove such information from our records.
