eDocuments in Aktion - a new way to verify identity

Digital identity is also coming to the corporate environment. With the growing prevalence of the eDocuments mobile app, Aktion now enables the authentication of people directly through this digital service. The function is primarily designed for visitor registration and personal data verification, both at the reception desk in the Aktion system and at self-service visitor kiosks.

What's new

Visitors can now be identified in Aktion by their eDocument in the mobile app. The visitor simply scans the QR code displayed on the monitor or kiosk and confirms the sharing of their data in the eDocuments app. Verification is done online via the servers of the Digital and Information Agency of the Czech Republic (DIA) and the data is automatically written to the Aktion system. Každé ověření se přitom bezpečně loguje do agendy žurnál, aby bylo možné zpětně doložit čas a způsob zpracování dat v souladu s požadavky GDPR.

Two ways of verification

Self-certified authentication

An organisation may operate authentication independently. The certificate is managed on the eDocument Certification Portal via the legal entity's data box. Authentication is performed directly from the customer's application server, so personal data is not processed by any third party.

Verification by processor (EFG CZ)

The second option is to use the server service of the processor EFG CZ, which provides authentication in the form of a data service. The customer does not have to manage his own certificate. It is enough to conclude a contract for processing personal data between EFG and the organization.

A button has been added when creating a new visit „Load eDocument“.
Systém rozpozná, zda už daná osoba existuje, a zabrání vzniku duplicit.

🧍 Agenda Persons

On the „Documents“ tab, there is a button „Load eDocument“, which works similarly and the data about the person is again pre-filled from the eDocument.

💡 Self-service Visitor Kiosk

Funkci eDokladů lze aktivovat i v návštěvním kiosku, kde se návštěvník zaregistruje sám.
